This was not a DIY I was planning to do, but I am so glad I ended up doing it anyway! I had some extra supplies I thought I would need, but it turned out I didn't. There were some extra Halloween roses, two floral foam pot inserts, and two glass pillar candleholders, all from Dollar Tree.

I also bought these two fun skull drink dispensers I was planning to use for my upcoming Halloween party with a double drink disperser stand I already had. So I thought it might be fun to create two floral drink dispenser toppers that would coordinate with some of the other DIY items I was making for the party!

What you'll need from the Dollar Tree:

Black Roses (at least 2 bunches per topper)

Purple Roses (at least 2 bunches per topper)

Red Roses (at least 2 bunches per topper)

What else you'll need:

Black spray paint (optional, as mine were already painted)

Step-by-step instructions:

Step 1: Spray paint glass candleholders if desired. (optional)

Step 2: Using a wire cutter, remove the individual roses from each bunch.

Step 3: Place the floral foam pot insert largest side facing down. Start with the black roses and add one to the top center and three more evenly spaced around the edge of the top.

Step 4: Add 3 purple roses in between the black roses.

Step 5: Add 2-3 red roses where there are empty spaces or similar colors next to each other, like black next to black.

Step 6: Add the rest of the black roses evenly around the middle, pointed at an angle.

Step 7: Arrange the remaining purple roses in between the black ones.

Step 8: Arrange the remaining red roses to cover all the empty spaces or similar colors next to each other.

Step 9: Hot glue the bottom of the floral pot insert to the bottom of the glass pillar candleholder.

The lip on the top of the candleholder will keep the topper from sliding off of the lid of the dispenser, but you can use tape or hot glue it to the top of the lid for even more stability. I think these turned out fantastic and will go well with some of my other DIY projects for my Halloween party!

XOXO,

P+P
